Board & Train is powerful—but it is not automatically the best first step.
We will recommend it when immersive trainer-led work fits the dog and goals. If owner coaching or the home environment is central to the problem, another format may create a better foundation.

Where will my dog stay?
Board & Train dogs stay in our home rather than a large commercial boarding facility. Appropriate crates or quiet rest areas may still be used for safety, sleep, decompression, and healthy downtime.
How many Board & Train dogs do you accept at once?
We limit the program to one Board & Train client dog at a time. This allows the training and daily care to remain personal and centered on that dog’s plan.
How long will my dog need to stay?
Program length depends on the dog’s current skills, behavior, learning history, goals, and the reliability you want to develop. We will recommend a realistic length after learning more during the consultation.
Will my dog train outside the home?
Yes, when appropriate for the dog and current stage of training. Real-world work may include neighborhoods, parks, pet-friendly businesses, and other carefully selected environments.
How will I learn to maintain the results?
One private lesson is included for every week of training. These sessions teach you the handling, communication, expectations, and practice your dog will need after returning home.
Is Board & Train appropriate for reactivity or aggression?
It may be appropriate for some dogs, but these behaviors often depend heavily on the owner, home, triggers, and daily routines. We may recommend beginning with the Complete K9 Assessment or private lessons so owner coaching is part of the process from the start.
Will my dog be fully trained when the stay ends?
Your dog can make substantial progress, but training is never completely finished at drop-off. Reliability continues to develop through owner practice, consistent expectations, reinforcement, and ongoing exposure after the dog returns home.
